Hosta Happy Dayz forms a medium mound measuring between 40cm and 45cm in height, with a spread extending up to 75cm at maturity. This variety, which is a sport of Hosta Orange Marmalade, features broader margins that are pebbled and crinkled. Unlike its parent plant, the leaves are cupped at the base. The foliage exhibits similar yellow tones as the parent, highlighted by marmalade-coloured stripes through the centre of each leaf. The wide blue-green margins accentuate the bright centre of the leaves, which turn white by late summer, with the margins becoming greener. When exposed to ample sunlight, the plant displays remarkable colours. Lavender flowers bloom on scapes reaching up to 75cm during July and continuing into August.
