Hosta Zonda forms a medium mound ranging from 40cm to 45cm in height, with a mature spread of up to 90cm. This upright Hosta features dark green foliage accented by bright white marginal variegation. The ovate leaves exhibit slight waviness, corrugation, and folding. The margin occasionally sends grey streaks toward the leaf centres. As a tetraploid, it has thick leaves that offer good resistance to slugs. Over time, Hosta Zonda cups gently and shows light corrugation. During the summer, it produces lavender flowers on scapes that can reach up to 75cm in height.
