Hosta Yellow Boa will develop into a small mound approximately 25cm-30cm in height, with a spread of up to 40cm upon maturity. It features slightly wavy yellow foliage that turns greenish yellow later in the season. This Hosta variety is an excellent choice for placement near the front of a border and is also well-suited for troughs or bowls when paired with other miniatures. A similar variety, Hosta Feather Boa, is slightly smaller in size. To maintain its bright gold colour for a longer duration during the growing season, it is advisable to grow Hosta Yellow Boa with a few hours of sunlight each day. During July and August, pale lavender, almost blue flowers appear on scapes reaching up to 45cm.
