Hosta Wolverine is a medium-sized perennial that reaches a height of approximately 40cm to 45cm, with a spread of up to 100cm at maturity. It features a cascading mound of lance-shaped, slender-tipped, slightly wavy blue-green leaves with irregular pale-yellow margins. During late summer, tall scapes extending up to 45cm carry racemes of funnel-shaped, pale lavender-blue flowers. This rapidly growing specimen is both slug resistant and sun tolerant. Hosta Wolverine is highly regarded among collectors and was awarded the Eunice Fisher Distinguished Merit Hosta Award in 2014, as well as the American Hosta Society Benedict Garden Performance recognition.
