Hosta Wogon's Boy develops into a medium to large mound, reaching a height of approximately 55cm-65cm and a spread of up to 90cm at maturity. This Hosta is particularly notable early in the year when its leaves emit a luminous quality. The foliage exhibits a very pale lemon-yellow hue with a subtle hint of lime near the petioles. The colour is paler and more striking than that of Fire Island. While they maintain this vibrant coloration well, the leaves may gradually turn green by late summer. The early season gold display is splendid. The leaves eventually acquire a quilted texture and light green colouration by late summer and exhibit substantial resistance to slugs and snails. Lavender flowers emerge during July and August, held on scapes that can grow up to 80cm tall.
