Hosta Wind River Gold will form a small mound of about 6"-8" in height, with a spread of up to 22", at maturity. It has yellow leaves with light ribbing and moderatley wrinkled edges. It produces pale purple flowers on long scapes up to 24" and grows in semi shade and full shade. Low and wide gold colour from spring to Autumn. A rapid increaser. The gold leaves of this pinwheel-type can take a considerable amount of sun. which it needs for best colouring. A choice little Hosta. Excellent for breeding. Not slug resistant.
