Hosta Wide Brim will form a medium mound of 14"-16" in height, with a spread of up to 40", at maturity. It is amongst the most popular of variegated Hostas ever introduced, cheerfully bringing plenty of varied colour to any situation. It forms an attractive, dome-shaped, medium mound of cordate, rugose, broadly heart-shaped, puckered dark green leaves, with a blue cast, widely and irregularly margined ivory to buttery yellow. Opening from pale lavender-grey buds, violet-striped, pale lavender funnel-shaped flowers appear,on scapes of up to 24", July to August. Easy to grow Hosta, for everyone. A great one for starters.
