Hosta Wheee will form a medium sized Hosta of 12"-18" in height, with a spread of up to 30", at maturity. The extremely ruffled, cream coloured margins extend from the tip of each green leaf all the way down the petiole to the crown, even in the juvenile stage. I love seeing this Hosta emerge as the leaves are curly as soon as they appear in spring. The leaves have such wavy edges, that the plant looks like it would have just come from the hairdresser. The leaves of this medium sized Hosta are of excellent substance, making them slug resistant in the landscape. Light lavender flowers are borne on 24" tall, purple scapes, in June & July. Not known to be sun tolerant.
