Hosta Twin Cities forms a substantial mound, reaching 55cm to 60cm in height and spreading up to 125cm at maturity. The leaf colouration shows the twin cities. It is a reverse-coloured sport of Hosta St Paul, itself a sport of Hosta Paul's Glory. The leaves emerge blue green with a faint chartreuse margin that brightens over the summer, potentially turning a vibrant yellow with sufficient sunlight. As the plant matures, the clump exhibits notable corrugation. It produces an upright, slug-resistant, spreading clump. Light lavender flowers bloom atop scapes reaching up to 100cm tall in early summer.
