Hosta Titanium forms a medium-sized, low-growing mound approximately 20cm-30 cm in height, with a spread of up to 90cm at maturity. Its slightly wavy leaves add to its aesthetic appeal. The very thick foliage is silvery blue in spring and retains its colour effectively. This vigorous silver-blue plant forms clumps rapidly, featuring leathery, smooth-centred leaves that are heavily wax-coated on both the upper and lower surfaces. It is ideal for planting at the front of borders. While it thrives in morning and late afternoon sun, it requires protection from mid-day sun to maintain its blue hue throughout the season. A second flush of leaves in mid to late season ensures the continued presence of blue foliage. Lavender flowers appear on 60cm scapes in late summer, completing its visual appeal. Additionally, it is slug-resistant, and both its foliage and flowers tend to outlast those of other Hostas.
