Hosta Sunset Grooves forms a medium-sized mound, reaching approximately 36cm-40cm in height with a spread of up to 80cm at maturity. Its leaves are rounded and cupped, featuring a narrow flamed yellow centre bordered by a wide green margin. Although it initially grows slowly, it exhibits an excellent growth rate once established and possesses substantial leaf structure that provides notable pest resistance. Exposure to some sunlight enhances the golden hue against the dark green background. During the summer, it produces near-white flowers on 75cm tall green scapes, rising well above the foliage.
