Hosta Striptease forms a medium to large mound, reaching heights of 45cm-55cm and spreading up to 90cm at maturity. It features dark green leaves accentuated by a distinctive thin white line that encircles a narrow elliptical gold centre. The leaf margins are blue green in spring, transitioning to dark green by late spring. This variety is a vigorous grower, thriving in most light conditions but performing optimally with ample morning sunlight. Known for its striking colouration, it has given rise to many other varieties. In July, it produces lavender flowers on 75cm scapes, which persist into August. Additionally, this variety exhibits resistance to slugs. It was honoured as the American Hosta Growers Association Hosta of the Year in 2005.
