Hosta Sting will form a medium sized mound of about 12"-16" in height, with a spread of up to 32", at maturity. This is a sport of Hosta Anne, with thick dark green leaves that have a flamed white centre, and deeply cupped foliage. Hosta Sting’s fascinating mounds are created from thick leaves with wide, deep green margins that surround, narrow white centres that jet into the margins.The leaves have a good substance to them, making them unattractive to slugs and snails. This stunner will tuck into any spot and grab attention. Thick, glossy foliage that emerges looking good and keeps its good looks all season. Beautiful, thick lavender flowers appear on 30" scapes in the summer. The plant is also sun tolerant as well as slug resistant.
