Hosta Silly String forms a compact, wavy mound that reaches 30cm to 40cm in height, with a spread of up to 75cm at maturity. This distinctive Hosta features narrow blue leaves with pronounced wavy margins. The leaves are most blue in spring, gradually transitioning to a blue-green hue as the season advances. This variety is easily identifiable even without a plant tag. In July to August, pale purple flowers emerge atop the plant on 70cm purple scapes, creating an attractive display. It is ideal for containers or as a front border in shaded gardens. Morning sun is tolerable and enhances the leaf coloration, and the plant demonstrates resistance to slugs.
