Hosta Silly Strings will form a small, wavy mound of 12"-16" in height, with a spread of up to 30" at maturity. This unique Hosta has narrow blue leaves with intensely wavy margins. The leaves are the most blue in spring; as the season progresses the leaves become more blue-green. This is definitely a Hosta that you can identify without a plant tag! Pale purple flowers top the plant held on 28" purple scapes in July to August, for a perfect package. Perfect for containers or the front of the shade garden. Morning sun is tolerable and will help to intensify the leaf colors, she is also slug resistant.
