Hosta Smimmy Shake will form a medium mound of 14"-16" in height, with a spread of up to 32" at maturity. It produces a flat-top mound of rippled and twisted light green foliage. Foliage is chartreuse to yellow when grown in a bright location. The leaves are elliptical to oblong.  The interesting leaves are slightly cupped and held horizontally on reddish petioles. The ripples and twists of the leaves help to show off the white backsides. These leaves certainly shimmy and shake! The unique shape of the mound makes this Hosta a great container specimen. Not slug resistant but it does need some some to keep the yellow leaves. Lavender flowers are held on 24" scapes in summer.
