Hosta Sharp Dressed Man forms a medium-sized mound reaching a height of 36cm-40cm, with a spread of up to 95cm at full maturity. This plant features very thick foliage in shades of medium to dark green, highlighted by a narrow white medial variegation. The ovate leaves are slightly cupped and exhibit deep veining. Many leaves display significant white colouring at their bases, which extends down the petiole. Lighter green streaks between the centre and margin of the leaf enhance the distinctiveness of this Hosta. The leaves arch out from the mound gracefully, creating a visually appealing arrangement. This variety boasts a good growth rate and presents a striking contrast in colours. It is both slug-resistant and sun-tolerant. In summer, lavender flowers emerge on scapes that can reach up to 75cm. It has received recognition from the American Hosta Society with the Distinguished Merit Hosta award 2019. This Hosta is included in our Special Collection.
