Hosta Rock Island Line forms a very small mound of about 6"-8" in height, with a spread of up to 12"  at maturity. It's a vigorous Hosta with green leaves and a thin white margin. Forms a dense mound of slightly shiny foliage. Leaves are shiny on top, flat, ovate, rounded at the base. Excellent Hosta for the miniature garden. An easily grown Hosta for a miniature. Amost white sometimes, very pale lavender flowers appear on long green scapes of up to 18" holding the flowers well above the foliage, in mid-summer. Makes a great container plant. Very impressive, especially in full bloom when mature. This miniature specimen is not sun tolerant nor slug resistant. RHS Award Of Garden Merit.
