Hosta Red Wine Fries cultivates a medium mound reaching 36cm-40cm in height, with a spread of up to 80cm at full maturity. It forms an elegant clump of long, wavy grey-green leaves that exhibit significant character. The leaves are held by red petioles, which position them upright with twisted tips, creating a cascading effect reminiscent of a waterspout. The long arching leaves display numerous ripples, adding to its gentle flow within the garden landscape. In late summer, lavender flowers bloom on 75cm purple scapes.
