Hosta Pretty Flamingo will form a small to medium mound of about 8" - 14" in height, with a spread of up to 20", at maturity. A fairly open habit of heart-shaped green leaves, with garnet red petiole bases. The growth is medium to fast. Very floriforous lavender flowers are held, well above the foliage, on 30" tall, pinkish scapes. Great as a front of border plant but be careful with the sun. Not very sun tolerant. Not slug resistant either.
