Small heart-shaped blue-green leaves are slightly cupped and corrugated. Leaves are bluest when it first emerges. As the glaucous coating fades the leaves take on a grey-green colour. Leaves are dark green by mid-summer. Vigorous grower that forms a dense mound of blue-green foliage. Nice small mound of blue-green foliage. A good grower which works well in a group or on it's own. Lavender flowers with a paler throat, are held on 26" scapes, in June & July. Slug resistant but put in light shade only.
