Hosta Paul Vernooij develops into a medium-sized mound, reaching a height of 36cm to 38cm and spreading up to 80cm at full maturity. This Hosta features very thick blue leaves with soft yellowish-green margins. It is a sport of Hosta Ben Vernooij, distinguished by its lime-green margin instead of yellow. Notably, this Hosta maintains its attractive appearance throughout the season until a hard frost occurs. Lavender flowers bloom in June and July, rising above the foliage on scapes that can reach up to 60cm. Additionally, this slug-resistant Hosta can tolerate some sunlight, although it is not officially registered as sun-tolerant. This plant is included in our special collection.
