Hosta Paradise Glory will form a large mound of about 24"-30" in height, with a spread of up to 50", at maturity. It is a possible tetraploid sport of Hosta Paul's Glory, but with thicker leaves and a wider margin. Thick gold leaves have a wide blue-green margin. Leaves emerge is spring with bright blue margins surrounding a muted chartreuse centre. By late summer the glaucous coating melts away revealing a bright gold centre surrounded by a blue-green margin. The spring colour is eye-catching in the garden! Pale lavender flowers, on short scapes of up to 36", during July & into August. The leaves of good substance enable this Hosta to survive slugs & snails. Prefers dappled shade. Not good in the sun. A stunning plant with vibrant colours when grown in just the right spot. RHS award of Merit.
