Hosta Orange Marmalade develops into a medium mound, reaching a height of 45cm-55cm and spreading up to 60cm at maturity. This plant makes a striking impact with its lush foliage and forms an attractive mound of lightly corrugated leaves, measuring up to 20cm in length, which emerge blue green in spring. The leaf centres turn orange-gold in early summer before fading to creamy-white. In the summer, funnel-shaped lavender blooms appear on scapes that can reach 90cm in length. This moderately fast-growing variety is excellent for borders or massing, and it also performs well in containers. The orange hue is uncommon among Hostas. This variety has been recognised with the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
