The Hosta October Sky develops into a vase-shaped mound, reaching a height of 30cm-40cm and spreading up to 80cm at maturity. It features a dense collection of intensely blue leaves that maintain their colour well into the season. The leaves are notably blue with slight waviness along the margins, exhibiting an intense powder-blue hue on both the top and bottom, slight puckering, and creamy green bracts with a pink blush. The plant produces near-white flowers on scapes that reach 60cm tall, blooming in late summer. Additionally, it is resistant to slug damage.
