Hosta Northern Exposure will form a large mound of about 28"-34" in height, with a spread of up to 74", at maturity. It has lovely thick blue leaves which are heavily corrugated with a creamy-white edge. It is slow to mature but it is really worth the wait, it looks very similat to Hosta American Halo but does not have the issues of the drawstring effect. This large specimen selection has big, rounded blue-green leaves with a wide white margin. The leaves are held fairly flat with just a slight dish on mature plants. They are heavily seersuckered with a good blue base colouring, edged in creamy white. Near-white flowers on tall 44" scapes, appear in June. Good slug resistance and sun tolerance.
