Hosta Night at the Opera will form a clump of 16"-20" in height, with a spread of up to 50" at maturity. It has blue-green leaves in spring with nice wide gold margins. Leaves become grey-green in summer and the margin stays perfect. The leaves are wavy, making the whole clump look like it is in motion. A gorgeous clump of thickly layered green leaves with a wide and wavy yellow border shouts look at me, and you will!!  Leaves have the gusto of a baritone and the substance of a soprano with a large torso. Pale lavender flowers are held on 30" tall scapes in early summer. Add to that it's slug resistant and sun tolerant.
