Hosta Moon Split will develop into a medium-sized mound, reaching approximately 50cm-60cm in height with an approximate spread of 80cm at maturity. This variety is characterized by its prominent veins and round leaves. It features broad, puckered, heart-shaped yellow leaves with a distinct thin dark green stripe down the centre, creating striking variegation that stands out in the garden. The variegation extends down the petiole, adding to its visual appeal. It is a vigorous grower with excellent colour contrast. Pale lavender, slightly fragrant flowers will bloom on tall 90cm scapes in mid-summer. This plant is a sport of Hosta Velvet Moon but with reduced green colouration. Additionally, it can tolerate substantial sunlight exposure.
