Hosta Mean Gene will form a small mound of 10"-14" in height, with a spread of up to 26" at maturity. Misty white-green leaves. An interesting hybrid of the unique Hosta Mita-no-hana with white flowers, with misty white green leaves, early in the season, which add green flecks and spots before turning dark green later. It bears white rectifolia type flowers on long scapes. Unique appearance and a has got to be one for the Hosta collector. White flowers on scapes of 24" tall, in summer.
