Hosta Mary Marie Ann will form a small to medium sized mound of about 14"-16" in height, with a spread of up to 32", at maturity. Not a well known Hosta but the leaves are heavily twisted, ruffled & waxy, giving some resistance to slugs. Leaves experience many colour changes throughout the growing season. Leaves emerge in spring with yellow centres bordered by a green margin. There is stitching in between the two. The centre of the leaf becomes more white by early summer. In mid to late summer the centre of the leaf becomes heavily misted with green. Leaves will be a subtle two-toned green in late summer. Although the brightest colour is in spring, this Hosta looks good all season. Lavender flowers appear on tall 50" scapes, in summer. Beautiful spring colour.
