Hosta Mama Mia will form a medium sized mound of 16"-18" in height, with a spread of up to 30", at maturity. A compact, dome-shaped, mound of broad, heart-shaped, wavy-margined,  leaves, with strong veins. These are also slightly corrugated, with glossy dark green with golden-yellow margins. These fade to cream with age. Scapes of up to 28" will hold aloft dainty, pale lavender flowers in summer. Excellent gold autumn colour. A good strong growing Hosta for the middle or front of a border. Dappled shade for this one. Not sun tolerant nor slug resistant.
