Hosta Love Pat has heavily corrugated and deeply cupped blue leaves that produce a medium to large mound of 14"-18" in height, with a spread of up to 30", at maturity. Leaves emerge in spring with lots of wax for a bright blue colour. By late summer the leaves are blue-green. The backsides of the leaves are white which you can see on some leaves due to the extreme cupping. Tokudama type, leaves are thick & quilted making it excellent slug resistance & sun tolerant. Love Pat is hard to beat. White flowers on 22" scapes appear in early summer, giving a fabulous contrast to the foliage. RHS Award Of Garden Merit.
