Hosta Lipstick Kiss forms an upright medium mound reaching a height of 30cm-40cm, with a spread of up to 80cm at maturity. Its leaves are elongated, bright golden with green margins, and set on red petioles that extend into the leaf blade. Compared to its counterpart, Hosta Lipstick Blonde, it contains more chlorophyll, making it easier to cultivate. Hosta Lipstick Kiss is notable for being one of the most colourful Hostas available. It shares a similar leaf shape and general growth habit with Hosta Lipstick Blonde. The colour combination is simply exquisite. Lavender flowers emerge on 55cm scapes in July and August.
