Hosta Lipstick Kiss will form an upright medium mound of 12"-16" in height, with a spread of up to 32" at maturity. It has elongated bright, golden leaves with green margins, set on red petioles. The red extends into the leaf blade. More chlorophyll than its sister Hosta Lipstick Blonde and therefore an easier grower. Hosta Lipstick Kiss is definitely one of the most colourful hostas on the market. It has a similar leaf shape and general habitus to Hosta Lipstick Blonde. A simply beautiful colour combination. A real stunner. Lavender flowers appear on scapes of up to 22" in Jul & Aug.
