Hosta Lady Guinevere will form a medium sized mound of about 18"-20 height, with a spread of up to 30", at maturity. It holds leaves that are yellow-variegated, brightening up the deeper shade of green on its margins. Its attractive small textured narrow leaves remain gold in colour with showy bluish-green variegation throughout the season. Pointy-ruffled leaves are different than most other Hostas. A stunning plant with a large number of lovely dainty spikes of purple flower buds opening to lavender tubular flowers rising above the foliage on 36" scapes in mid-summer. Not particularly slug resistant, but I find growing in a container reduces attack. Part shade for this one, but will enjoy morning sun. Avoid midday sun.
