Hosta Kabitan will form a small sized Hosta of about 8"-14" in height, with a spread of up to 24", at maturity. A beautiful sport of sieboldii  that was found growing in the wild. Beautiful yellow leaves and a wavy thin green margin and brightens everything up in the whole bed. (The colour fades somewhat with the summer, but always remains the brighter spot in the bed). Rich purple flowers appear on 24" scapes in July. Best with morning sun. Kabitan is stoloniferous so the clumps are enlarged on a regular basis. (They spread with underground runners rather than just the clump enlarging as most Hostas do). A classic hosta a must for any collector. A lovely little hosta that looks great in a pot. Not slug resistant but is sun tolerant.
