Hosta Jiminy Cricket forms a miniature mound measuring 15cm-20cm in height, with a spread of up to 45cm at maturity. This variety features small, wavy, chartreuse foliage that is slightly waxy. The leaves emerge yellow in spring but will turn lime-green during summer if grown in excessive shade. A moderate amount of sunlight will help maintain their yellow colour. It is a fast-growing Hosta ideal for the front of a border or as a small container plant alongside other miniature varieties. Lavender flowers appear on scapes reaching up to 60cm in height from June through July. This plant prefers partial sunlight.
