Hosta Invincible forms a medium to large mound, reaching 45cm to 60cm in height, with a spread of up to 125cm at maturity. This cultivar produces smooth, green leaves with slightly rippled margins and an unusual shiny surface on both sides. The plant features pointed, glossy olive-green leaves of average substance. Hosta Invincible remains attractive, performs well in pots, and exhibits a superb growth rate. It is particularly useful for breaking up masses of variegation. The plant blooms with fragrant, pale lavender flowers on scapes that reach 85cm in height from July into August. While it can tolerate some sun, excessive exposure may lighten and burn the leaves. Overall, this is an excellent fragrant and sun-tolerant Hosta variety.
