Hosta Independence will form a medium-sized mound reaching 45cm-50cm in height, with a spread of up to 58cm at maturity. This mid-sized specimen is notable for its unique characteristics. It is the counterpart to Hosta Revolution. Each clump consists of sturdy, dark green, heart-shaped leaves with a broad, creamy white edge accented by green flecks. In June and July, attractive clumps are adorned with 70cm tall spikes of lavender flowers. Additionally, it exhibits excellent resistance to slugs. For optimal growth and to enhance its rich coloration, it should be planted in areas where it can receive morning sunlight. However, excessive sunlight may cause scorching.
