The Hosta High Tide develops into a medium-sized mound, reaching dimensions of approximately 138cm in height and 45cm in width, with a mature spread of up to 100cm. In spring, its frosty-blue leaves exhibit a subtle purple hue originating from the petioles. The leaves transition to a blue-green colour, characterized by their substantial thickness and gently undulating margins. This variety forms a compact, dense mound of attractive blue foliage. Known for its reliability, the Hosta High Tide maintains a modest size and displays flat blue leaves that prominently feature the purple petioles within the clump. In the summer, the plant produces distinctive and aesthetically pleasing flowers in dark lavender or pale purple hues, borne on purple scapes that can reach heights of up to 75cm. It is adaptable to growing in sunlight and exhibits resistance to slugs. Overall, the Hosta High Tide is an excellent and versatile choice for various garden applications.
