Hosta Hans will form a medium sized mound of 20"-24" in height, with a spread of up to 36", at maturity. Bright white leaves in spring have nice blue-green margins. There is a lighter green colour between the white centres and blue margin. In mid-summer the centre of the leaf starts to blotch with green streaks giving this plant better vigour. The attractive leaves are corrugated and twisted adding to the beauty of the clump! This  sport of Hosta Andrew has the same beautiful leaves but with much better vigour. A slow grower that needs a special place in the garden. Give this one bright morning sun, adequate fertilizer and moisture and you will be rewarded. Pale lavender flowers in late spring. Not particularly slug resistant but is fairly sun tolerant.RHS Award Of Garden Merit.
