Hosta Hans forms a medium-sized mound reaching 50cm-60cm in height, with a spread of up to 90cm at maturity. In spring, its bright white leaves are complemented by blue-green margins, with a lighter green hue between the white centres and the blue edges. By mid-summer, the leaf centres begin to display green streaks, enhancing the plant's vigour. The leaves are corrugated and twisted, adding to the overall attractiveness of the clump. This slow-growing variety requires a special spot in the garden. It thrives in bright morning sun with adequate fertilizer and moisture. Pale lavender flowers appear on scapes approximately 90cm tall in late spring. The plant is fairly tolerant of sunlight.
