Hosta Gypsy Rose forms a small-sized mound reaching heights of 20cm to 25cm, with a spread of up to 90cm at maturity. It is a notable variant of the Hosta Striptease. The leaves of Hosta Gypsy Rose feature a yellow centre with a sharply contrasting dark green margin, separated by a whitish line. This cultivar demonstrates a good growth rate and excels as a specimen plant in a pot. Notably, Hosta Gypsy Rose remains slightly smaller than Hosta Striptease but showcases a much brighter yellow centre pattern compared to the light green of Hosta Striptease. Lavendar flowers are produced on 45cm scapes from late July into August. This exceptional plant is an essential addition to any Hosta collection due to its slug resistance and sun tolerance properties. Additionally, it has been recognized with the RHS Award of Garden Merit.
