Hosta Green Lava will form a medium sized, upright mound of 18"-22", with a spread of up to 38", at maturity. It has cascading, slightly twisted, wavy yellow leaves held on purple petioles. The leaves turn to soft-green later in the season. It  has lavender flowers that appear on scapes of up to 32" late in the season around August & into September. It prefers to grow in semi shade and full shade, so not very sun tolerant for a yellow Hosta. Not slug resistant.  This is a lovely looking Hosta once mature.
