Hosta Granary Gold will form a fairly large upright mound of 18"-20" in height, with a spread of up to 60", at maturity. It produces a mound of rich golden leaves, which emerge yellow-gold in the spring, and holds it's colour right through summer, before turning chartreuse in August. This one absolutely comes alive during that special time after the sun sets and before the dark. Almost white to pale lavender flowers appear on short 24" scapes in July, staying until into early August. A real sparkler in the garden. A real stand out plant that everyone asks about. Not slug resistant and said not to be sun tolerant. Does enjoy the evening sun though. It appears to have very little presence on the internet to provide any further information. It is registerd as a medium, but does get large.
