Hosta Ghost Spirit will form a medium mound of 16"-18" in height, with a spread of up to 42", at maturity. A mound of blue heart shaped leaves that are irregularily misted and streaked with white. Many leaves will form a white centre with the variegation fading with summer's heat into just a faint misting. Holds its colour best in the shade, but the variegation can fade to a faint misting with the summer's heat. Topped with lavender flowers on 30" scapes, in June, and has good substance. If you are looking for something a little different, look no further. It is slug resistant and will tolerate just a little sun but is prone to scorching in hot sun
