Hosta Fresh Mint will form a miniature sized mound of just 5"-6" in height, with a spread of up to 12" at maturity. Small, twisted dark-green leaves with a white centre. It is a sport of Hosta Hideout but a much better grower than its parent, with wider margins, with a variable medium green transition between the white centre and dark green margin. The leaves are slightly shiny on top, lanceolate, slightly twisted and moderately folded. It has lavender flowers held on short green scapes of about 12" tall, that bloom from June into July. Likely to be resistant to slugs and tolerates a little early sun. This is part of our Special Collection.
