Hosta Fresh Mint forms a mound measuring approximately 12cm-15cm in height, with a spread of up to 30cm at maturity. It has small, dark-green leaves with a white centre. This plant is a sport of Hosta Hideout but grows better than its parent, featuring wider margins and a medium green transition between the white centre and dark green margin. The leaves are slightly shiny on top, lanceolate, slightly twisted, and moderately folded. It produces lavender flowers on short green scapes about 30cm tall, blooming from June into July. The plant is likely resistant to slugs and can tolerate some early sun exposure. This plant is included in a special collection.
