Hosta Fortunei will form a medium mound of 16"-18" in height with a spread of up to 24" at maturity. A little rated medium sized, green leaved Hosta. Hosta fortunei is one of the original, from many years ago. It is great for mass planting. It produces masses of lavender flowers on long 36" scapes in summer. It was given the RHS award of garden merit inrecognition of its excellence. It may also be listed as Hosta fortunei var, Hyacynthia. Not sun tolerant and not slug resistant, but very, very good value.
