Hosta Fire & Ice forms a small to medium mound, reaching 40cm-45cm in height with a spread of up to 75cm at maturity. A reverse sport of Hosta Patriot, Hosta Fire & Ice is a clump-forming variety that creates an upright, compact mound of broadly oval, lightly twisted, satiny leaves ranging from creamy ivory to pure white, edged with irregular dark green margins. In the summer, racemes of funnel-shaped lavender flowers emerge on scapes that extend approximately 60cm above the foliage mound. This Hosta provides striking colour to any border, with morning sunlight promoting optimal growth.
