Hosta Feather Boa forms a robust miniature mound reaching 25cm-35cm in height and spreading up to 50cm at maturity. It features bright yellow, wavy-margined, lance-shaped leaves that are sharply pointed and approximately 8 to 10 cm long. This variety, a seedling of Hosta Subcrocea, exhibits very ruffled foliage and grows rapidly. Hosta Feather Boa thrives best in container displays, although it can also be planted in a well-maintained border. Lavender flowers with purple stripes bloom on 50cm tall scapes, providing a striking contrast against the yellow foliage from July to August. Its vigorous mound of ruffled yellow foliage is noteworthy. Additionally, this miniature Hosta shows tolerance to sun exposure.
