Hosta Etched Glass will develop into a substantial and colourful clump, reaching 40cm-50cm in height, with a spread of up to 90cm at maturity. This Hosta stands out for its elegance and sophistication. As a sport of Stained Glass, it features wider margins and thicker leaves compared to its parent plant. The very wide, dark green margins contrast strikingly with the bright, brilliant yellow centres. Additionally, a light green pattern exists between the margin and the centres. Upon maturity, the margins exhibit puckering. In late summer, very large, fragrant, and showy near-white flowers bloom on scapes up to 100cm tall.
