Hosta Essence of Summer forms a medium to large mound measuring approximately 52cm-60cm in height, with a spread of up to 90cm at maturity. The plant features extremely thick, heavily corrugated, rounded, medium green leaves that are slightly darker than its parent species. In July and August, it produces large, very fragrant white flowers held on 90cm tall scapes, closely resembling the size of Hosta plantaginea blooms. This cultivar is noted for its impressive foliage and stunning floral display.
