Hosta Essence of Summer will form a medium to large mound of about 24" tall with a spread of up to 36" at maturity. Very heavy substance. Extremely thick, heavily corrugated, rounded, medium green leaves that are a little darker than the parent, are topped with large very fragrant, white flowers in July & August, held on 36" tall scapes. Flowers come close in size to Hosta plantaginea. Stunning!
