Hosta Emeralds & Rubies will form a small clump of 6"-9" in height with a spread of just 15" at maturity. A delightful little Hosta, Emeralds and Rubies has dark green, slightly rippled, leaves. It has lovely red petioles, all the way up to the leaf. The flower spikes are also red which is a beautiful feature. Lavender flowers with purple stripes are held on scapes of up to 18" starting in mid July and lasting into August. A fast growing Hosta. Both slug resistant and sun tolerant. What a lovely Hosta to have. Awarded the American Hosta Society.
